👑👑👑 WE GOT THE SILVER CROWN 👑👑👑

(Yes, we know that's a gold crown, but its the only emoji they had.)

Tracy Trost, creator of The Mercy Ships was at the 2026 ICVM Crown Awards at NRB in Nashville this year and found out that Season 1 has won the Silver Crown Award for Best Series. Woo hoo!!!

Thanks to everyone at ICVM for the amazing honor, and to everyone who gave their blood, sweat, and tears to make Season 1 possible. You rock!

But beyond the awards and accolades, which we are incredibly grateful for, some of the best awards we get are hearing that Mercy Ships is getting more and more volunteers and donations from people watching the show.

Those are our favorite kinds of awards and knowing that we had a hand in people finding out about this great organization, the work they do, and the opportunity to join with them through volunteering and donations, is better than any trophy, although some of us really like trophies, we won't name names.

So thanks again to ICVM and the wonderful honor of Silver Crown for Best Series, good job everyone!

One of the most difficult jobs onboard Mercy Ships is having to have difficult conversations with the patients who aren't quite ready for a surgery.

But Albert Sam has such a BIG HEART, and truly cares for the people he gets to meet with in his role as Chaplain, you couldn't ask for anyone better to deliver the news.

And while he sometimes has to deliver this sad news, he also gets to celebrate with those who have had their lives changed.
