This day is a hardware day, and for this we will have an expert with us to explain what it takes to build a robot, from idea to design and production. He is Camilo Parra Palacio, the founder of a huge community of bipedal robots: OTTO DIY
During his talk, we will be showing how to create movements and behaviors to our Ottoky Biped Robot. <= pay attention to this. There will be some homework later 😊
We will also learn how to use a very important kind of component in robotics: motors. To put our learning into practice, our nice Ottoky-car version will be programmed to move and avoid obstacles.
✔ Program DC motors
✔ Detect distance with ultrasound sensor.
✔ Create a behavior to avoid a wall
We know we all like to control robots remotely, so we will program the robot to be controlled with a remote (if there is time).
