Here is a recap of our message from this weekend...

The End: Acting Brand New

image

In the final message of the “The End” series, Pastor Jared reminds us that the promise of Revelation is not destruction, but restoration. God is not throwing away His creation—He’s making it brand new. From pain and loss to healing and hope, eternity isn’t a distant dream—it’s the reality we live for today.

Weekly Bible Study List

  1. Revelation 21:5 (NLT) – “Look, I am making everything new!”
  2. Isaiah 65:19 (NLT) – “The sound of weeping and crying will be heard in it no more.”
  3. 2 Peter 3:9 (NLT) – “He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.”
  4. Philippians 3:20 (NLT) – “But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives.”
  5. 1 Thessalonians 4:13 (NLT) – “We do not grieve like people who have no hope.”

The Sunday Outline & Notes

Pastor Jared concludes “The End” series by painting a powerful and hope-filled vision of eternity. Using imagery from Revelation 21 and Isaiah 65, the message shifts our perspective on what the end truly looks like—not destruction, but divine renovation.

Point 1: God Will Make All Things New

Eternity isn’t a spiritual escape—it’s a restoration project by God Himself. Just as a historic home is restored rather than demolished, God is renewing creation, not discarding it. Everything we’ve endured—every struggle and heartbreak—will be transformed by God into something beautiful.

Point 2: God Will Heal What's Broken

Isaiah gives us a prophetic glimpse into God’s future for His people: a world where pain and death no longer exist, where prayers are answered before they are even spoken. It’s not a fantasy—it’s the kind of healing that rewrites every painful chapter in our lives. God doesn’t erase the good—He removes the broken.

Point 3: We Must Prepare for the End

As we wait for Jesus’ return, we are called to act like citizens of heaven. Peter reminds us that God’s delay is patience, giving more time for repentance. We’re not called to spiritual survival—we’re called to Kingdom impact.

From Sermon to Action

Pastor Jared offers three ways we should live today in preparation for eternity:

  1. Live with Expectation – Anticipate God's kingdom, and serve the world He’s placed you in.
  2. Grieve with Hope – Yes, we cry. But we cry knowing joy is coming.
  3. Worship with Full Surrender – Don’t wait for heaven to give Jesus your all. Eternity starts now.

When that day comes—the day Jesus returns and everything broken is made whole—we’ll wish we had surrendered sooner, loved deeper, and lived more fully for the Kingdom. The message leaves us with this truth: God isn’t just offering a better ending—He’s offering a brand new beginning.
