Here is a recap of our message from this weekend...
COME & SEE: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?
In his message “What Have You Done?”, Pastor Jared reminds us that many of us are standing in the middle of miracles we’ve forgotten we even prayed for. Drawing from Psalm 66, he challenges believers to stop normalizing God’s blessings and instead return to a posture of awe, gratitude, and worship. True worship isn’t a feeling—it’s a response to what God has already done.

The Sunday Outline & Notes
Pastor Jared opens with a reflection on desperation—the moments in life where we’ve begged God to move. He reminds us that in times of desperation, our prayers become passionate and real. But too often, once God answers those prayers, we quickly forget our promises and normalize the miracles we once cried out for.
The Danger of Forgetting
In Psalm 66, King David responds to God’s unmistakable move with a command: “Shout for joy to God, all the earth… Come and see what God has done!” David’s reaction teaches us that gratitude must be intentional. When we stop praising God for what He’s done, we lose faith for what He can still do.
Faith Built on Evidence, Not Feelings
Pastor Jared points out that faith is not built on fleeting emotions but on the tangible evidence of God’s faithfulness. Just as David invited Israel to remember, we too must pause and recognize the miracles all around us—the answered prayers, the healed relationships, and the daily blessings we take for granted.
The Normalization of God’s Power
Our culture has lost the fear of God because we’ve normalized His blessings. What once filled us with awe now barely makes us pause. Jared warns that “the fastest way to lose your miracle is to forget it ever was one.” Like the Israelites, who complained three days after crossing the Red Sea, we often forget the magnitude of God’s provision.
True Worship: A Response, Not a Feeling
Worship, Jared emphasizes, is not about personal preference—it’s about God’s worthiness. “If all you received today is breath in your lungs, He did enough.” Worship should overflow from gratitude, not be dependent on a song list or a mood. When we remember what He’s done, our worship becomes authentic and powerful.
Jesus Is Worthy of Praise
Quoting Luke 19:40, Jared reminds us that Jesus declared, “If they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” God will be praised—if not by us, by creation itself. Every believer must ask, “Have I let the rocks cry out on my behalf?”
When we remember the consistent excellence of God’s character, our confidence shifts from hoping He’ll show up to knowing He always will. Gratitude turns past miracles into present faith.
Three-Part Challenge
To cultivate lasting gratitude, Pastor Jared challenges the church:
- Audit Your Blessings – Write down the evidence of God’s faithfulness.
- Worship for What You Have – Thank God before you ask for more.
- Let Gratitude Build Expectation – Let what He’s already done fuel your faith for what’s ahead.
Conclusion: Fear Him Again
Pastor Jared closes by calling the church to rediscover reverence for God—to worship Him not as a distant friend but as the holy, powerful Creator who deserves our awe. The invitation is simple: Come and see. Remember His faithfulness. Praise Him for what He’s done. And live in expectation of what He will continue to do.
