A Fake E-mail is Going Around Again - Don't Be Fooled

One City family,

We were made aware of a spam e-mail that has been circulating pretending to be from Pastor Jared Fabac and asking for help purchasing gift cards. Please note that this e-mail is spam and should be deleted immediately.

One City will NEVER ask for congregational assistance in purchasing items. If you ever receive an e-mail that feels odd or out of the ordinary for what we do as a church, please immediately ask questions and contact [email protected] to let us know.

If you've already received this spam e-mail, please delete it. If you've responded to it, please ensure you don't open any links or files and delete all future messages.

This e-mail is not coming from a One City e-mail address and is simply using a fake sender name. Here is a sample of what this e-mail looks like:

Stay safe out there and if you meet the hacker, lead him or her to Jesus like One City people do.

Praying your week has been great!

Blessings,

"The Real" Pastor Jared
