Here is a recap of our message from this weekend...
Uncommon Cents: Built to Build
First and foremost, we're celebrating the 51 baptisms that we saw on Sunday! In Week 3 of the “Uncommon Cents” series, we explore how obedience to God’s word leads to life-changing blessings.Through stewardship and sacrificial giving, we plant seeds that yield generational impact. Our obedience today sets the stage for tomorrow’s blessings, emphasizing that God’s design for tithing and offerings benefits us, not Him. We finished the message with an exciting building update where Pastor Jared gave the church a full tour of the new location. 3 PRINCIPLES TO REACH A BLESSED LIFE
- Strive For Obedience, Not Blessing - Blessings follow obedience, not the other way around. Deuteronomy 28 describes the manifold blessings that flow from obedience, emphasizing that God blesses us in the land of His will, not outside it. As James reminds us, faith demands action—being doers, not just hearers.
- Plant Seeds, Not Expectations - Giving isn’t merely about the act; it’s about sowing seeds. We’re reminded to focus on planting seeds of tithes, offerings, and sacrificial giving without placing expectations on their immediate outcome. God uses our seeds to create generational blessings, multiplying them beyond our understanding.
- Build Today To Change Tomorrow - The blessings we experience today are the harvest of seeds planted by those before us. Now, it’s our turn to invest in the future. As the church embarks on its building project, each member is invited to contribute, laying a foundation for future generations.
