Welcome back to another edition of White Label American updates! We are thrilled to announce that we have been working hard preparing for new episodes and an exciting event. I am delighted to share that I will be recording my talk for the 5th Afros and Audio Podcast Festival on Wednesday, the 20th. If you haven't already, please send me your questions for the Q&A segment. You can respond to this email or leave a voicemail at https://www.whitelabelamerican.com/contact/.
During my podcast talk, I will delve into the unique perspective of being an African Immigrant and how it shapes my approach to storytelling. I will explore the importance of holding ourselves and our storytelling accountable while allowing room for growth. Additionally, I will emphasize the significance of diversity in storytelling, highlighting that it should be enjoyable for both creators and listeners. Lastly, I will raise the question of whether fabricated storytelling should be encouraged when selling "authenticity." Don't miss the opportunity to join me on Thursday at 7 pm EST on what was formerly Twitter Spaces (X Space sounds like I'm in Spaceforce). I will be conversing with Talib Jasir, co-founder of Afros & Audio (Ep 127), and other distinguished speakers at the 5th Afros and Audio Podcast Festival.
"I'm thrilled to announce that starting this Friday, I will be recording regular episodes, including a special solo episode where I'll freestyle and share my thoughts. Joining me in the studio will be Josh, who will be interviewing me. I can't wait to kick things off and bring you amazing stories from awesome individuals whose voices deserve to be heard."
Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to connecting with you during these exciting events and beyond.
