Dear
Do you want to leave your mark on Jewish history?
You can do just that by dedicating a letter in a historic Torah scroll.
A Torah scroll is a handwritten copy of the first five books of the Hebrew Bible, the Chumash. It is one of the most sacred objects in Judaism and is used in weekly religious services.
By purchasing a letter in a Torah scroll, you are helping to ensure that this important document will be preserved for future generations. You are also making a personal connection to Judaism and its history.
This Torah in particular is close to 100 years old, written in Russia and then brought to Texas for its second "career" in 1984.
YJP will be its third long-term home.
Here are just a few of the benefits of purchasing a letter in a Torah scroll:
- You will be helping to preserve an important piece of Jewish history.
- You will be making a personal connection to the Jewish faith.
- You will be leaving your mark on Jewish history.
- You will be supporting a worthy cause.
- It is a great opportunity to honor a loved one or commemorate a special occasion
