Hi ,
During my bachelor's degree, leg strength in older adults didn't sound particularly exciting.
Then I saw my grandparents, and now even my parents slowly but gradually begin struggling with everyday tasks such as walking stairs, carrying groceries, getting out of a chair, and staying independent.
We know that moving is great for health.
Being more active is associated with living longer.
But what's the point of living longer if your final decade(s) are spent in decline?
If you can't do daily things anymore without assistance - like walking stairs, carrying groceries or getting out of a chair?
