Maybe I already told you the story, but my mom found a small kitten wandering around outside her house. He couldn't breathe because his nostrils were crusted over and his eyes had some type of infection.
My mom brought him inside the house and called me. I know she wanted to help him herself but she couldn't. To put it bluntly, she's dying of liver cancer.
Of course, we took him in and have been nursing him back to health since. Between vet visits and wiping his nose a thousand times a day, he's on an upswing but still sneezing and coughing a little. He got him in March of his this year. Since it's June now and he's still a little sick, we have the vet on speed dial.
He was malnourished and so skinny, we could see his bones but we've gotten his weight up. He's growing normally. He's a lot better than he was, as you can see from the pictures. Still, the upper respiratory infection continues, although it's not nearly as bad as it was.
The vet is testing him for feline aids and leukemia, but he's had all his immunizations and will be neutered next month.
If anyone has any advice, I more than welcome it.
