Hello, my sweet Bunbarians,


It's been a bit since you heard from me, and I missed you. I had to take a step back and figure some things out. If you've been here for a while, you've seen me talk about mental health. It seems more of my friends are feeling the strain of the world. Are you experiencing it too?


A long time ago, I learned that when I felt stuck, I needed to take a moment to breathe, assess the little part of my world that I can control, and see where I can make a shift. Sounds easy when I say it that way, but getting to a place to be able to even realize that's what's happening is really the challenge.


I think I finally got there. A little trip with the family helped with that, which I'll tell you more about next time. With my third authorversary coming next month, I realized that I'm not happy with the work that I've published, especially my last one. You may not have noticed because I didn't announce it. The couple of people who found it said it felt rushed. It was. I ran out of time to meet my deadline and shortened the story by removing swaths of lovely relationship-building.
