Hi !
I was backtracking last night photos of our Theology of the Body Classes that I attended last year during the pandemic.
Actually, it’s where it all started and how the Beyond Kilig team came to being, which we formed March this year with my classmates.
Truly, when we discover something so great, we can’t but not talk about it!
Anyways, I chanced upon this video I viewed around this same time last year and it talks about Sister Lucia’s prediction before she died (one of the 3 kids witness to Fatima’s Marian Apparition).
It was not the first time for me to hear this then, but I found it very relevant to what Beyond Kilig is addressing, as we work on educating ourselves and advocating the teachings of Theology of the Body to as many young Filipinos as possible.
“The final battle between the Lord and the kingdom of Satan will be about Marriage and the Family.’ Don't be afraid, she added, because whoever works for the sanctity of Marriage and the Family will always be fought against and opposed in every way, because this is the decisive issue. Then she concluded: ‘nevertheless, Our Lady has already crushed his head’.”

My main point here is that Theology of the Body has a very beautiful message with regard to our identity (that is love), the vocation to marriage and purpose of our sexuality which I think every young person needs to know especially those looking forward to getting married and raising a family!
It’s very fitting that tonight, our guest for Kwentuhang Beyond Kilig’s show is Tita Joy Katigbak who will talk to us about how learning and advocating Theology of the Body has made an impact in her marriage and family life!
As an educator, she will also share with us how to communicate sensitive topics to kids/youth.
Join in on this conversation so that we unpack how Theology of the Body becomes more of a lifestyle, beyond the concepts from a book.
