It snowed!!

I know many weren't excited about it, but I (and many of the children I may have influenced over the years) were so excited to see the snow flakes falling this past week. It brings reminders that Christmas isn't so far away, and the hope of that magical season. Plus, it's pretty :)

Things have been buzzing around these parts as we settle into a new normal with youth ministry, the normal kid chaos and I'm finally starting to carve out time for writing. I'll share a brief writing update below, some books I'm reading, a few for you to try out and a giveaway! (So excited for this book!)

Writing Update!

Can you keep a secret???

Good :) So can I hehe. But I will share that I hope to have some exciting writing news to share with all of you very soon!

In the meantime, I'm eagerly anticipating the cover for my third book, "Someone to Lean On" which releases in May. The edits are done and I'm so excited to share this story with you. It's the third and final book in the Faith Endures Series and we will follow Lucia in her next phase of life with a young daughter and some new challenges. Mason also hits a fork in the road and wonders if he's gotten his calling all wrong. There are new characters as well, and lots of growth and faith woven in.

If you haven't had a chance to read the first two books in the series, now would be a great time to check them out and get ready for the release of "Someone to Lean On" Click the buttons below to check out "Emma's Hero" and "Right Before Their Eyes." Both are free on KU!

Reading Reccomendations

I've read a number of books this month, but these two stood out as some of my favorites. If you're in the mood for some swoony romance with adorable banter in a small town, "When in Rome" might be the perfect book for you! If you'd like to follow a character through an outdoor adventure as she makes peace with her past, and stumbles upon love, "Happiness for Beginners" is a great choice! *Both have some language, if you are sensitive to that.

Could these be your next reads?

In a small Pennsylvania town, an ordinary young couple faces an extraordinary truth. Mary never expected her doctor’s words: pregnant, but unexplainable. Joseph never expected to stay, but he couldn’t walk away. Together, they are pulled into a journey through snowstorms, crowded roads, and closed doors—searching for safety, dignity, and a place to welcome new life.

Set against the backdrop of modern Bethlehem, PA, The Quiet Miracle is a timeless Christmas story for today—where faith and doubt collide, where hope breaks through the ordinary, and where love finds a way, even in the darkest of nights.
