I hope those who celebrate it had a wonderful Halloween. It's not such a big thing in Australia, but my two big kids have been dressing up every year since they were little kids to greet everyone at our front door.
I just hand out the lollies. (Candy.)
When Teena Raffa Mulligan invited me to her Not the Plot podcast last month, I stepped off-script—and into the deep end. I may have sounded like a deer in headlights, but Teena’s gentle guidance helped me find a few threads worth sharing. If you’re curious about the creative process (or just want to hear from authors who are a little more at home off-script), her other guests are a treat.
The time is getting closer for the release of the final Trinket Bay book.
An Eye on the Prize, Book 5 in the Trinket Bay K9 Mysteries, is currently with the editor and will soon be available on Amazon. It's the biggest book in the series, which isn't too bad considering I planned for four books, not five. Apparently one of my characters didn't get that memo, but they are happy they finally have their own book.
The cover isn't finalised, but there's still time to preorder An Eye on the Prize. It may have been bittersweet to write, but I sure hope you love it.
