October came last week, and with it, the end of the nice summer weather. My little corner of Oregon had a decent spot of rain (helping some local forest fires, thankfully) and leaves began to redden on trees.
Mother Nature has officially rung in autumn.
In response, festive fall decor has been popping up in our neighborhood. My favorite by far has to be good ol' Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, terrorizing the hedges of arbor vitae near a main road.
This brings me straight back to my childhood when I wanted to be a Ghostbuster.
In between baking pumpkin bread and reading cozy fantasy novels, I'm writing a brand new trilogy set in the same universe as my other Paranormal Women's Fiction books. This series will feature a brand new female protagonist, but of course still contains a bunch of characters and settings you already know and love. Just today I wrote the first Library of Atlantis scene in what feels like ages. It feels like revisiting an old friend.
