Hi ,
Meditation is the quiet tool that changes our lives and I wish I had found it sooner. About 20 years ago, my friend Donna Teodorov introduced me to meditation. Donna will be doing a guided meditation with us, and speaking about our birth time and how we can map and plan a healthier life for 2024.
At the time I first met meditation, my husband and I were experiencing repeated miscarriages. Our marriage was not in a good place - and eventually, it collapsed. But meditation, I believe, kept the heartbeat of our marriage going. We traveled to Deepak Chopra's centre when I was pregnant with Lily, and it has been a permanent fixture in my life for the last 15 years.
To be clear: I suck at meditation. The squirrels rarely stop chattering, but i keep trying. I love guided meditations, I love deep breath work, and I savour Sunday mornings when Jasper and I sit and I dive in. I keep trying.
It is exactly like exercise or sunshine. I can't do without either.
Tonight, I invite you to do one of the most powerful meditations there is:
Metta Kindness
Let us be happy. Let us be healthy. Let us be peaceful, and at ease.
With LOVE and gratitude,
