Dear ,
So you finished your yoga teacher training. You have the certificate.
Then someone asks, "So, when are you teaching?"
It's a fair question. Right?!?
It can also be a hard one to answer.
How do you adapt a pose when it isn't working for someone?
What do you do with your hands during an adjustment?
How do you build a class that flows?
Thaat's why we created the Graduate Teaching Labs: four practical workshops where you can develop those skills through practice, feedback, and real teaching scenarios.
Choose the skill you want to build:
Lab 1: The Art of Adapting - Learn to modify poses for different bodies, abilities, and experience levels. Online with Jennifer Clarke | September 30, 6:30-8:30 p.m. | $65
Lab 2: The Art of Adjustments - Practice observation, consent, and thoughtful hands-on assists. In person with Delia Brett | October 3, 1-4 p.m. | $75
Lab 3: The Art of Sequencing - Build classes with a clear purpose and a natural flow. In person with Delia Brett | October 17, 1-4 p.m. | $75
Lab 4: The Art of Supporting Yin - Use props and variations to support the person in front of you. In person with Andrew Fredericks | October 31, 1-4 p.m. | $75
Labs 2-4 are in person at Green Room Yoga. Lab 1 is online.
You can take one lab or bundle your learning: any two for $135, any three for $195, or all four for $240.
And there's a next step. Complete two or more labs and you'll become eligible to teach donation-based Karma Classes at Green Room Yoga.
It's a chance to put your learniing into practice and keep building confidence in a supportive setting.
You don't need to feel ready for every teaching situation before you begin. Pick a skill, practice it, and keep going.
