For those of you who subscribed to the Yoga and Life Coaching emails here is a short summary of a video call with Cory Center, Co-Founder of Yoga and Life Coaching:

In this podcast, Andrew and Cory discuss coaching and how it can address unmet needs in various areas of life. They explain that coaching is not about giving answers, but rather about helping people find their own answers through asking the right questions. They discuss the benefits of coaching for both the coach and the client, including improved communication and connection, positive psychology, and the development of a growth mindset.

They also share their own experiences with coaching and how it has helped them overcome challenges and develop a more positive outlook. Andrew talks about how he used to have a fixed mindset, but through coaching, he has been able to shift to a growth mindset and see challenges as possibilities. Cory emphasizes the importance of acknowledging the humanity aspect of coaching and being clear about the role of a coach versus a therapist or counselor.

Throughout the podcast, Andrew and Cory highlight the value of coaching in various contexts, such as yoga studios, business settings, and personal relationships. They also provide insights into the coaching program they have created, which is based on the yoga sutras and incorporates positive psychology and neuroscience. Listeners can expect to learn more about coaching in the upcoming videos, including what it takes to become a coach, how the training program works, and the benefits of free coaching.

Overall, the podcast emphasizes the power of coaching in transforming lives and helping people reach their full potential."
