We’re thrilled to introduce Cindy, a Karma Teachers YTT graduate from 2015 who has since embarked on a whirlwind of outer adventure and deep inner exploration.
For the past three years, she has been surfing, teaching, and sharing her practice across the tropics.
It all began in the summer of 2015 when an engineering internship fell through, and a serendipitous email landed in her inbox offering a last-minute spot in our YTT.
It was an easy yes, and the rest is history.
Before becoming a yoga teacher and coach full-time, Cindy was a tech founder and product manager in the fast-paced world of technology. After experiencing deep burnout, she left that career in 2022 and booked a one-way flight to Bali.
There she rediscovered joy through surfing and yoga, a journey that eventually brought her to Nicaragua in 2024, where she fell in love with the raw, unspoiled beauty of the country. It has since become her base for a life rooted in joy, balance, and purpose.
This winter, Cindy is bringing her love for the ocean and her passion for holistic wellbeing to the Reset & Flow Retreat, a week of surf, wellness, and mindful restoration. 🌊✨
Drawing from years of coaching clients through burnout into more sustainable and fulfilling lives, Cindy has crafted a retreat that blends ocean adventure with mindfulness, breathwork, somatic movement, and intentional rest, all within a supportive and vibrant community.
