Hey , how is your summer? 💙📚
Summer is in full swing, but it doesn’t really feel like it here in London. With the exception of two heatwaves, it's been raining pretty much non-stop. Typical!
But I am finally taking some time off - my day job has been pretty crazy over the summer, and I'm looking forward to a bit of R&R!
I'll be heading over to Croatia with Domi, one of my best friends, where we'll soak in some much needed sun after so many months of lockdown and rain! ☀️ Have you ever been to Croatia? If so, please give me your tips!
In the meantime, I'll spend the next few days catching up on my writing, as there's something special that will be with you soon... (read on for details!)

In terms of bookish news, The Countdown is now available on Kindle Unlimited!! I've wanted to enroll my books in the program for quite some time now, and that day is finally here!
Going forward, all my books will be in Kindle Unlimited on Amazon, so if you have a subscription, you'll be able to read them for free :)
Here's the link to The Countdown in all its shiny KU glory:

I've got another free story coming up, exclusively for you, my lovely newsletter subscribers. It won't be available anywhere else!
It's another prequel (yes, I am the George Lucas of YA dystopian, apparently!), and it takes place six months after the events of The Countdown. So I guess you could say it's #0.75 in the series!
Just a little something something to help tide you over while I wrangle the (extensive) edits of Book 1.
I can exclusively reveal that the protagonist of prequel #2 is Emmeline 'Em' Vega. The one thing you need to know about her is that she doesn't take 'no' for an answer!
Some of your favorite (or not-so-favorite) characters from The Countdown will also be reprising their roles 😉
Keep your eyes peeled, the story will land in your inboxes soon!
I've got another piece of exciting bookish news... my lovely friend Clare Littlemore, whom I had the pleasure of meeting in Edinburgh at a writing conference, has completed her incredible Flow series and is releasing all 4 books in one!
I've read the entire series and can highly recommend it to anyone who loves ruined worlds, teen characters who you can't help but root for, corrupt and cruel societies, and just a dash of romance!
Clare will publish the complete boxed set with all 4 books on September 1, but you can preorder your copy for only 99c now!

Dive into the complete Flow Series box set. 4 novels with over 1,500 pages of intriguing characters, thrilling action and slow-burn romance.
A drowned planet. A terrible secret. A girl desperate for answers.
In a world where sea levels have risen to unimaginable levels, an isolated society exists. Life in The Beck is tough. Floodwaters constantly threaten existence, and rules must be followed to ensure the survival of the entire society.
Sixteen-year-old Quin knows the Governor is hiding something. When she receives a sudden promotion to the Patrol Sector, she hopes the extra freedom will help her expose his lies.
Life in Patrol is not what she expected, though. The new recruits train hard, and failure is not tolerated. When she attracts the attention of the handsome, mysterious Cam, he warns her that asking questions could get her killed.
But Quin can’t resist. She digs deeper and discovers that there's more to Cam than meets the eye. With her heart and her life on the line, Quin has to decide how far she is willing to go to protect the people she loves.
If you love The Hunger Games, Divergent and The Giver, this gripping dystopian series by Clare Littlemore will keep you up all night.
