BREAKS
Generally, each day will include two breaks of about fifteen minutes each, and a five minute break.
PRE WORKSHOP PREPARATION
There is one exercise of approximately 15-20 minutes that you will be required to complete before the start of the workshop. There is no other homework for this course.
CONTENT OF THE COURSE:
By the end of this course you will have:
- Understood the basics of human sexual functioning
- Familiarised yourself with sexual terminology, and what words you are comfortable with using
- Thought about life from the perspective of a person with different sexual preferences
- Looked at childhood development with regard to sex
- Thought about childhood messages received around sex
- Learnt about the ageing process with regards to sexual functioning
- Practiced role play situations discussing sex, sexuality or ageing
Please note: the content of this course is of a sexual nature and many of the images shown are very explicit. However, all content is relevant to the course.
ABOUT THE TRAINER:
Zofia Zyborska is a qualified and Senior accredited Sex and Relationship Therapist (COSRT), with 25 years’ experience, also a Sex Addiction Therapist.
She has worked with couples and individuals since 1997, using an integrative approach. She has also worked in schools for many years as a Sexual Educator, running various programmes promoting positive sexual health, including condom use, contraception, consent, porn, and pleasure.
She teaches fifth year medical students at Edinburgh University, on human sexuality and sexual problems and also taught on the Sex and Relationship Diploma course at Relationship Scotland.
Qualifications: MSc Nursing and Health Studies, Dip Counselling, Dip Psychosexual Therapy, Dip Sex Addiction
