We're saying goodbye to The Shark Is Broken and hello to R.U.R.
Thank you for making The Shark Is Broken such a success. From a completely sold-out run to glowing reviews in OnStage Colorado & Front Row Center Denver, and features on KOAA News5 & Fox21, your laughter and support turned this show into one of our most memorable productions.
We continue our 16th season with R.U.R. by Karel Čapek , adapted and directed by SET member Matt Phillips. Performances run November 6 to 23 at the Fifty-Niner Speakeasy in Old Colorado City.
Written more than a century ago, this groundbreaking play introduced the word “robot” to the world. It remains a sharp and timely exploration of technology, power, and what it means to be human. Matt Phillips, a UCCS graduate and first-year SET member, brings fresh vision and urgency to this classic.
