One blink = 4.5 months - Update from Poland

Dear ,

In our last update, we shared about opportunities to serve with our online English4Life semester. It seems like we sent that email out and blinked and now our Spring term is over! The four and a half weeks went by so fast, and we want to share with you what God did during this special term.

How do you run an online English school?

This is a question that we were asking ourselves before our term began. We were just getting used to running a regular English school and now we had to do everything online. However, God provided everything we needed to have a successful term. There were 38 directly people who were involved besides our staff and countless others who were praying for us. If you were part of this, we want to say THANK YOU!

All of our lessons were online and one of our favorite times was chapel. We sang songs, heard testimonies, learned verses, and had messages online. If you would like to see what this was like, you can watch one of our chapels by clicking here. Ray Pritchard, from Keep Believing Ministries, shared a message on God's Will from Proverbs 3:5-6.

Our first year of English4Life is complete! Here are some of the things that have happened this year:

These are most of our students and staff from the last term (there were some students who could not be here and all of our teachers were online)

This is what one of our students said about their time at English4Life:

This time was fruitful for my spiritual growth. I’ve spend more time with Bible than ever. Quiet time, Bible classes and Chapel were full of lessons for my life. I really enjoyed this time!

As we look back on our first year of English4Life in Poland, the biggest thing that we think about is how thankful we are. We are thankful to God for all that He does (which is more than we realize). We are thankful for our staff and volunteers who have poured countless hours into our students. We are thankful for our students who learned and grew with us. We are thankful for our prayer and financial supporters that allow us to serve here. THANK YOU!

COMING UP!

What happens now that we are finished with our English4Life term?

We are glad that you asked! We are going to, Lord willing, have four weeks of camp this summer. Please pray for wisdom, especially about some changes that we need to make to ensure the safety of our campers while we try to reach as many people as possible.

Our next term for English4Life is scheduled to begin on September 27. We still have opportunities for people to be a part of this. Please contact us if you are interested. We are going to be recruiting new students during the summer.

One more thing, just about a month until our daughter is scheduled to be born! Please pray for Dina and Baby over the next month and for us as we adjust to life and ministry as a family of four!
