The government has extended the moratorium on commercial property evictions to 2022.
This is in addition to the Debt Respite Scheme, which is already active. The Debt Respite Scheme gives protection to residential tenants.
Landlords, in some instances, will not be able to serve a section 8 notice for rent arrears on grounds 8,10 & 11. However, other grounds can still be used.
