Dear ,
Today's word
Incident:
* When the chosen men of Israel returned to Moses after exploring the land of Canaan, only Caleb and Joshua were positive.
* All others were in fear, disbelief & made the heart of Israel people melt in fear.
* The people, too, became rebellious because of their negative words.
* God was angry at the disbelief and rebellion of the people of Israel while He was pleased with Caleb and Joshua.
Outcome:
* The whole generation of Israel who were rebellious and unbelievers were killed in the desert.
* But Caleb and Joshua were blessed to be part of the army that had inherited the land of Canaan.
* Caleb was rewarded with the hill country of Hebron, according to his wish.
Analyze:
* What kind of person are you?
* Do you stand by your convictions and your faith in the Lord?
* Will you stand strong and undisturbed by the strength of the opposing camp?
Learning:
If you stand firm in your faith, when God punishes those who oppose Him, you will always be rewarded & recognized above others.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, grant me faith & courage to stand firm in my conviction, even if I have to stand alone. Amen.
