The Dancer and the Dragon Speaker is coming so soon!!

My friends!

I have no idea how we reached the end of November already. I'm SO not prepared for Thanksgiving, and it falls late this year. Yikes! But while life is flying by at breakneck speed, I'm happy to report it's all good things. Busy kiddos who want to participate in everything from scouts to Lego Club to basketball to youth retreats, a 2-year-old who wants to know the answer to all of life's mysteries (such as "Why can't I eat the chocolate NOW?"), part-time jobs and volunteer roles that keep me juggling, and a house that never seems to clean itself...

Plus I went to the Literature & Lattes Book Event in Sioux Falls, South Dakota! And had a fabulous time! It was so inspiring and fulfilling to meet so many amazing authors and readers and spend two days immersed in bookish fun. I even got to share about my publishing experiences on a panel! Listening to the audiobook of Vivid by Ashley Bustamante made the road trip fly by :)

And on top of it all, I also had a book to finish writing this month! The Dancer and the Dragon Speaker has given me some anxious moments wondering if I could possibly pull it together in time. But I'm very excited to say that it all worked out, and I think you're going to love the result. Secrets and intrigue, a cool dragon language, loving, snarky sisters, happy sigh romance...I can't wait for you to read it! TDATDS is already in the hands of advance readers, and after one last proofread I'll call it ready for publication. Just in time, since the release date is coming up on December 6th! Have you read any of the other Intertwined Tales yet? Drop me a note to let me know your favorite so far!

Speaking of new book releases, my author friend Pam Halter is celebrating the re-release of her YA fantasy, Fairyeater, this weekend! Stop by the Facebook event to learn more about her book and enter giveaways from guest authors (I may be one of them...)!

Another event you can't miss is the Black Friday Book Sale! Shop hundreds of free or $.99 books from the comfort of your own home, all organized by genre. If you missed snagging A Noble Purpose at its pre-order price, it will be on sale from Friday through next week!

And if you're looking for signed books as Christmas gifts for your friends or family (or yourself!) and happen to live in the upper Midwest, come see me at the Oakdale Holiday Hangout on December 14th! The craft show runs from 10:00 to 3:00 at Skyview Middle School in St. Paul, MN. I had so much fun at this event last year, so I'm thrilled it worked out for me to sign up again! If you aren't able to make it but would like to purchase signed copies of my books, drop me a line and we'll figure something out :)

Whew, thanks for sticking with me through all the updates! I hope you all have a wonderful month, and if you live in the US I wish you a very happy Thanksgiving! I'm more thankful for all of you than I can express. See you in December, and in the meantime, happy reading!

Have you read any of Kimberly A. Rogers' books yet? She writes the sweetest romances and comes up with such creative twists to fairy tales! So I'm beyond excited to read The Clockwork Fae Lord, a Regency gaslamp romantasy reimagining of Beauty and the Beast, which comes out on December 13th!

I've read two of the books in the Sacrificed Hearts series so far, and I can't wait to read more! I love how these authors each put a clean, healthy relationship twist on the theme of a girl being sacrificed to a monster. Everly Haywood's Pearls of Salt and Sacrifice is perfect for anyone looking for humor, romance, adventure, and cool sea creatures!

Find it on Amazon!

If you enjoy clean fairy tale retellings with adorable romance and clever twists, you need to give The Reluctant Godfather by Allison Tebo a try! I could not stop smiling while reading this Cinderella retelling, and I loved that it was told from the perspective of the fairy godfather.

Sharon Rose is one of those authors I've heard amazing things about and can't wait to read! Cool world-building, powerful themes, magical gifts, and isn't this cover stunning?!? To Weave the Wind just released last month, and the first book in the series is currently on sale!
