My friends!

Fall is finally in full swing here in Minnesota, with cooler temperatures and glorious colors. My favorite time of year :) But it's been sobering hearing news from other parts of the country who have had a much more difficult month - if you've been affected by any of the storms or natural disasters, please know that you're in my thoughts and prayers! Never hesitate to reach out with any specific prayer requests.

In book news, A Noble Purpose released on October 1st!! I've been so grateful for the outpouring of love and enthusiasm that readers have showered on my sweet little novella about a young woman who wants to help her big sister. We got an orange #1 New Release flag on Amazon, it has over 30 ratings on Goodreads already, and the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. THANK YOU to everyone who has taken the time to read A Noble Purpose, write a review, send me a note, share about the book on social media, or support the release in any other way. I truly have the best readers, and it makes this writing journey so worth it!

I'm also thrilled to share that my rough draft (emphasis on the word "rough"!) of The Dancer and the Dragon Speaker is complete! There have been many moments over the last few months when I've wondered if I could pull off releasing another book so soon after A Noble Purpose, so this was a huge milestone. It's clocking in at around 35,000 words, which should work out well because the details and transitions I need to fill in as I edit will bring me close to my original goal of 40,000 words. I have a lot of work yet to do, but I always find it inspiring to have a (mostly) complete story to work with! By this time next month, I should be sending out advance review copies and working on final proofreads and formatting. Another book is coming your way so soon, friends!! In the meantime, did you know that three books in The Intertwined Tales have already released? Have you read any of them yet?

And I have to ask - will I see any of you at the Literature & Lattes Book Event next weekend?? I can't wait to share about different forms of publishing in an author panel, meet readers and fellow authors (and try some tasty desserts!) at the Meet and Greet, check out some fun book-related crafts, and sell *signed* copies of my books at the Book Fair! If you're anywhere near Sioux Falls, South Dakota (or are in the mood for a bookish road trip!), I hope you'll stop by!

Time for me to get back to work on The Dancer and the Dragon Speaker! I hope you're doing well and have a lovely month ahead. I look forward to sharing more updates in November!

He was her first love. Now he’s her deadliest adversary.

The cover! The premise! Have you snatched up The Wizard's Mark by Janette Rallison yet? It looks amazing!! (*insert heart eyes here*)

Find it on Amazon!

Dragon's Curse was one of H.L. Burke's first releases, but it's still one of my favorites! A snarky heroine, a dragon with a secret, and fun twists on typical fantasy tropes - highly recommended for fans of clean romantic fantasy!

Start the Series!

Are there certain book titles that just catch your interest right from the start? Cue The Lady and the Leprechaun :) This short novella is the prequel to Katherine H. Brown's full-length novel, The Librarian's Treasure.

Snag it for $.99!

The only thing more dangerous than divining for water is falling in love with the enemy…

The Lightness of Water by Toni Cabell has won tons of literary awards, and now it's available as an audiobook! I know what I'm snatching up next on Audible...
