The New LLM Power Rankings for Amazon Sellers

TLDR

AI is no longer about “which model is best.”

It’s about which model is best for the task in front of you.

This week we break down the current LLM landscape of ChatGPT, Claude 4.5 (Sonnet/Opus), Gemini 3 + Nano Banana Pro, Perplexity and even lesser known Qwen.

We're gonna map out which ones agencies and sellers should be using for listing optimization, keyword & competitor analysis, ad strategy, spreadsheet / data-heavy tasks etc.

If you’ve felt overwhelmed by the model race, this will give you clarity for 2026.

The State of LLMs and the Best Ones for Every Amazon Use Case

We’ve officially reached the era where no single AI model dominates everything.

Claude writes like a strategist.
ChatGPT is a Swiss Army knife.
Gemini 3 sees like a camera and computes like a spreadsheet.
Perplexity is becoming the “hub” for using all of them together.
And Qwen models are coming in hot as high-IQ, low-cost workhorses.

For e-commerce teams, this means something powerful:

You can finally build a “stack” where each AI handles the job it’s best at.

Here’s the breakdown

Clean, practical, and geared toward what Amazon sellers and agencies actually do all day.

1. Listing Optimization, Long-Form Writing, Strategic Content

Best models:
Claude 4.5 Sonnet/Opus, ChatGPT 5.1, Perplexity (Claude mode)

If you’re doing full listing rewrites, brand voice copy, competitor teardown analysis

Claude 4.5 still holds the crown.

It keeps context better, writes cleaner, and doesn’t hallucinate nearly as much as other models when deep detail matters.

ChatGPT is a close second for fast, punchy content.

Perplexity is the easiest to use because you can call Claude or GPT directly inside it.

When to choose Claude 4.5:
You need strategy + depth + clean writing.
(Especially for multi-product agencies.)

2. Keyword Mining, Competitor Analysis & Category Research

Best models:
Claude 4.5, Perplexity, Qwen 2.5 (72B or above)

Claude 4.5 handles large context windows and long documents without losing the narrative.

Perfect for reviewing competitor listings, search term reports, reviews at scale etc

Perplexity is unmatched for current data, so you can find emerging keywords, identify top competitors, summarize new market entrants
…all without leaving one interface.

And Qwen?

Shockingly good at structured analysis and much faster than most people expect.

3. Product Images, A+ Graphics, Infographics & Creative Workflows

Best model:
Gemini 3, Gemini Nano Banana Pro (currently)

Gemini 3’s vision model is in another league, especially if you need photo-realistic product renders, text-heavy infographics, lifestyle images

Or even recoloring, restyling, or variant creation

Nano Banana Pro is incredible for fast mobile-friendly creation and template-based design.

Chatgpt can do pretty good with images as well but overall much slower. (This is where for personally we think Gemini just crushes everyone on that aspect alone... speed!)

Midjourney still wins pure aesthetics.

If your agency or brand does heavy creative work, Gemini 3 is the model to test right now.

4. Spreadsheets, Data Analysis, Reporting & Forecasting

Best models:
Gemini 3, ChatGPT 5.1, Qwen 2.5

Gemini has a natural advantage here because it “thinks” in rows and columns.

You can feed it ugly CSVs and it will catch ACOS/ROAS trends, budget pacing issues, forecasting anomalies etc

ChatGPT 5.1 is solid for mixed text + spreadsheet workflows.

Qwen is excellent for math-heavy PPC analysis at a low cost.

If you’re spending hours in Sheets pulling client reports… this is where you can get the biggest productivity lift.

5. Automations, Scripts, Tooling & Backend Workflows

Best models:
ChatGPT 5.1-Codex-Max, Qwen 2.5, Gemini 3 (Antigravity IDE)

For agencies building internal tools or automations:

  • Bulk keyword grouping
  • PPC cleanup scripts
  • Listing QA audits
  • Inventory alerts
  • Report formatting
  • Client dashboard prototypes

ChatGPT’s new Codex-Max is the industry leader (and already available if you have a chatgpt pro sub)

It handles long sessions, complex multi-file projects, and structured tool calls better than anything else right now.

Gemini 3’s Antigravity IDE is quietly powerful, especially paired with browser testing.

Qwen is the best “bang-for-buck” option for automation-heavy teams.

6. The All-in-One Hub: What Perplexity Gets Right

Perplexity isn’t actually a model — it’s an interface that lets you run ChatGPT, Claude, or other models within one workspace.

But for e-commerce it’s becoming a secret weapon because you can pull real-time data, chat with PDFs, pipe results into Claude or GPT and more.

If your agency manages multiple brands or marketplaces, Perplexity is easily the most productive “single pane of glass.”

So… Which AI Should You Use?

Here’s the honest answer:

Use the model that’s best for the task, not the one you’re most used to.

The brands and agencies winning right now aren’t loyal to models.

They’re loyal to outcomes.

If a model is great for copy? Use it.
If another model is better for PPC spreadsheets? Use that.
If one model dominates image generation? Plug it in.

This is how AI-native agencies will operate in 2026.
