Thrivers Notes: A Gentle Way to Begin This Week 🤍

Dear Thriver ,

As a parent of a child with cerebral palsy, a new week can sometimes feel heavy before it even begins.

So this is your gentle reminder today:

You don’t have to rush.

You don’t have to do everything.

You don’t have to carry more than you can hold.

This week, you’re allowed to slow down and focus on what truly matters.

You can choose to:

• celebrate small progress — even when it feels invisible

• plan with flexibility, not pressure

• rest without guilt

• care for yourself, not just your child

A new week doesn’t need more expectations placed on your shoulders.

It needs intention, grace, and room to adjust when things don’t go as planned.

Progress in this journey isn’t about doing more.

It’s about doing what matters — consistently and gently.

That’s why I want to invite you into something supportive and practical.

This week, I’m hosting a One-Day Neck Control Challenge for parents who want to learn how to support their child gently, confidently, and consistently — without pressure or overwhelm.

Neck control isn’t just about holding the head up.

It affects feeding, comfort, posture, interaction, and confidence.

And it improves best when parents have clear guidance and simple daily actions they can actually sustain.

If you’ve been unsure where to focus, or how to stay consistent without burning out, this challenge is for you.

As you step into this week, I’ll leave you with one gentle question:

What’s one thing you’ll do differently this week — for yourself or for your child?

Whatever your answer is, know this:

You are not behind.

You are not failing.

And you do not have to walk this journey alone.

With care and encouragement,

Catherine Irene,

Thrivers Coach.
